Things changed in an instant, but I kept on building my life anyway. While drawing on a core belief that everything has a solution, I continued to move forward in life.
A year after moving to Florida without knowing anybody to pursue a job opportunity, the recession hit, leaving me unemployed like many others. It was a lot, but in that year, I had gotten involved, put myself out there and made friends. Deep down, though the world seemed chaotic, I knew I would figure it out.
Not long after, I was presented with an opportunity to become a mortgage broker, and three years later, I became a licensed REALTOR® as well. Up to that point, I thought I would work in the sports world and had gotten a degree in that field. However, though I still had a passion for sports, I discovered it in real estate as well.
Hard work is something that comes naturally to me. I witnessed it in both my parents and embraced it myself through many years of playing competitive sports and as an Eagle Scout. I was always involved in my community, and those values of giving 100% no matter what became ingrained in who I am. When I began to build my real estate business, I channeled all those values into my business. I eventually shifted out of mortgages completely and became a full-time agent. In those early years, I did not yet have a family, so while I had the time to build, I made use of it.
Our lives are always evolving, and once I met my wife, Michelle, my life continued to grow. She lived in Michigan at the time, so I moved there while continuing to build my business in Florida. Even though I lived elsewhere, we always knew we would end up back here. We moved to Minnesota for a few years, and though I became a licensed REALTOR® there as well, I never missed a beat here in Florida. I worked from home and continued to travel as needed. It was not always perfect, but we made it work. I have truly enjoyed my journey as a husband and father.
As a REALTOR®, I manage my own schedule and have been able to coach my children’s teams and do school pick-ups and drop-offs while still building my business. My wife and I are a team, and we always find a way to make things work out. We moved back to Florida full-time in 2015, and it was a relief to finally be home.
I have continued to stay involved in the community, adapting along with each new chapter of life. After 16 seasons as a referee with the South Gulf Basketball Officials Association, I became the assignor entrusted with scheduling 120 people over 1,000 high school and middle school basketball games.
Those who know me joke that I never get stressed because I sleep great at night and do not worry about what ifs. I have the mentality to just work through the problems and find solutions. Those solutions are not always easy or quick to locate, but I continue to find them.
As a former athlete, I am competitive and enjoy harnessing that refusal to give up for my clients’ benefit. I always have solutions B, C, and D ready whenever we hit a bump in the road with Plan A. As a REALTOR®, I like to take the stress off of others.
I have been a licensed REALTOR® since 2009. Whenever I am not working, I enjoy camping with my family, boating, and spending time at our cabin in North Carolina. My favorite part of being a REALTOR® is finding creative ways to make the pieces of a deal come together for my clients.
From start to finish and beyond, I will be available to support you through the real estate process. I am a full-time REALTOR® - this is what I do all day every day and have done so for over a decade. When you call, I will answer and treat your concerns with urgency. As a former athlete, I am aggressive in advocating for my clients and will negotiate fiercely to ensure you get the best terms possible.
With my background in lending, I can help you look at the bigger picture and give you an idea of what to expect in the long run. Due to my experience in real estate investment, I have developed tools for success and am happy to share and educate my clients based on my personal and professional experience in this area. I have extensive experience with rentals (annual and vacation), flips, residential, all types of investment, and new construction real estate. My clients truly matter to me, and long after closing I will continue to support you as your REALTOR® for life.
Sincerely,
Pat Eberle
